Peter Kay announced his long-awaited comeback tour earlier this week, and on Wednesday, fans with access to various pre-sales were left waiting with bated breath in virtual queues on ticket-selling websites to see whether there would be anything left for them to snap up when their time came.
But one fan of the Bolton-born star, 49, will have to wait even longer to see him on stage after she made a horrendous blunder and ended up buying 10 tickets to the wrong show.
Leah-Dionne Short, from Bingley, West Yorkshire, had been waiting in a queue on Ticketmaster "all morning" to pick up tickets to the landmark tour - which will mark the first time Peter has toured the UK in 12 years - but when she finally got through, she somehow managed to spend £377 on tickets to see exhibition basketball team the Harlem Globetrotters instead.
