Bolton comedy superstar Peter Kay has announced a huge new UK comedy tour to open with two nights at Manchester's AO Arena in December. The tour will also include dates across the UK and Ireland throughout 2023, it was announced tonight during the adverts of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here.
Rumours had been rife that a tour announcement was imminent after comedy star Peter booked a series of top-secret "warm-up" shows at Salford's Lowry Theatre. Over recent weeks he has been performing shows in the tiny Studio space at the theatre to an audience of just 120 people to test out new material.
Now, he will head out on his first stand-up tour in 12 years. It will all begin on home turf at Manchester's AO Arena on December 2 and 3, before heading out to venues across the UK and Ireland including Sheffield, Dublin, Liverpool, London, Cardiff and Belfast.
