Peter Kay announces third Nottingham Motorpoint Arena show

A third Nottingham date has been added to Peter Kay's live arena tour. There's been huge demand for tickets following news of the popular comedian's tour.

It was previously announced that he would play two shows at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham on July 14 and July 15 next year.

Now a third date has been added - but fans will have a bit of a wait as it won't take place until Monday, October 6, 2025. Tickets for the show will go on sale Sunday, December 11 at 10am.

It comes after a third Birmingham date was confirmed for the popular comedian's tour. A spokesperson for the touring company confirmed news of the additional date and said tickets could go on sale at the weekend.

The extra date will be staged at the Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday October 6, 2023. General sale will begin Sunday, December 11 at 10am. Tickets available from The Ticket Factory.

His latest tour marks his return to stand-up comedy after twelve years.

After announcing his tour, the comedian said: "“It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now”

“And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010”

Peter’s 2010 tour still officially ranks with the Guinness Book of World Records as the biggest selling comedy tour of all time. There has been a huge demand for his live show tickets. After an initial 22 tour dates were advertised more dates were added and Peter will now be playing more than 110 live shows right into 2025.

It comes after the comedian appeared to wipe away tears as fans gave him a huge standing ovation to welcome his return to stand-up comedy on the first night of a mammoth 110-date tour. The Bolton comic performed the first show of his first solo tour for 12 years at Manchester's AO Arena on December 2.
