Peter Crouch makes top four prediction amid Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham and Man Utd slip ups

Former Premier League striker Peter Crouch doesn't know who will be getting top four this season as he has claimed that none of Man United, Arsenal, Spurs and West Ham have grasped the opportunity at hand.

Man United and West Ham were first up this week and both looked set to claim three points in their fixtures against Burnley and Watford respectively.

West Ham were able to grind out a 1-0 win against the relegation bound Hornets which represented their first win in their last three Premier League outings.

Meanwhile, for long periods of the first half at Turf Moor, it seemed destined that the Red Devils were going to run away with the contest as Paul Pogba struck early on.

However, a mix of wasteful finishing in front of goal coupled with VAR decisions meant that the Clarets only went in 1-0 down at half-time.

Whatever Sean Dyche said to his side really worked as a fantastic piece of work from new signing Wout Weghorst allowed Jay Rodriguez to have a free fun at goal and eventually smash home from a couple of yards out.

Despite some huffing and puffing, it ended 1-1 and an outcome that should have spurred Tottenham on to a vital win on Wednesday night against the indifferent Saints.

Although, the opposite happened as a poor defensive display resulted in a 3-2 defeat in north London - a result that now hands the initiative over to Arsenal who face Wolves on Thursday evening.

But will they also slip or will they show their metal too, just like their east London compatriots did, and grind out a vital three points at the Molineux Stadium in this midweek set of Premier League fixtures?

This topsy turvy nature of a top four battle this term has resulted in Crouch not giving a definitive answer when posed the question about which of the quartet will occupy that final fourth spot come the end of the season.

Speaking after proceedings came to a close at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, he said on BT Sport: "No one is grasping that top four spot.

"It feels like the top three are gone and fourth is up for grabs, with West Ham, Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

"I watched Manchester United at Burnley and the way they played first half, it looked like top four was nailed on for them, but then second half when Burnley stepped it up, they capitulated."
