Music star Peter Andre has revealed his worries as a dad as son Junior heads to Ibiza on holiday with his mates and to perform at Ibiza Rocks.
Pete, who is known for his hit songs including 'Mysterious Girl', shared his mixed feelings at his son heading off on holiday as he told his followers on Instagram that he feels "sick" and "stressed" with worry.
Son Junior Andre has just turned 18, with parents Katie Price and Peter Andre both wishing the teen a happy birthday as he reaches the milestone age.
Dad Peter has now opened up as he describes himself as "having a moment" as he dropped son Junior off to enjoy time away in Ibiza.
In a video to his Instagram Peter said: "So I've just left the airport, Junior going off on holiday with his friends.
"He's 18, it was a great day today. We spent the day together with Princess and it was wonderful but taking him to the airport I was getting that sick sort of feeling in my gut.
"But I really want him to have fun and enjoy himself."
He went on to tell his followers how Junior had headed off to the white isle with people he knew before revealing he's performing in Ibiza Rocks.
Dad Peter continued: "It's hard because you know now that legally he's an adult. Anyway, just having a moment and wanted to share it, hope you don't mind."
Since sharing his worries as a Dad, Peter's video has received a flood of comments from friends and fans who have felt similar as their kids grow up and fly the nest.
Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas commented: "Ah mate. He'll be fine, hes been brought up well."
Steps singer Claire Richards added: "Omg I totally hear you! It’s so hard seeing them grow so fast."
"You’ve taught him well he will make you very proud as he has been - but it doesn’t stop the worry or stress that comes with your child becoming an adult," shared a fan.
Another fan wrote: "He will be fine, this is his time, life is for living, you will be there if he needs you. Being a parent is a lifetime job, once a parent always a parent.."
This isn't the first time dad Peter has been left stressed as he revealed he had to come to terms with his fifteen-year-old daughter Princess having a boyfriend.
Speaking to OK! magazine he shared: "I’m getting asked constantly about Princess having a boyfriend. What I will say is that I’m really stressed out at the thought.
"I’m an overprotective dad. Many of you will remember when I used to joke when the kids were younger that Princess would be a nun!
"But I’ve learnt I can’t treat the girls differently from the boys. Whatever rules I had for Junior at 15 should be the same for Princess. It’s the right decision, although an incredibly stressful one for any parent!"
Princess and her boyfriend were first seen in April during a day out in Brighton with mum Katie and Carl Woods.
