Peter Andre whisked his wife Emily and his four children off for some winter fun to a fabulous ski trip where they’ve been able to enjoy the thrills of the slopes together.
The 48-year-old has been married to 32-year-old Emily MacDonagh since 2015 and together they share two children; eight-year-old daughter Amelia and five-year-old son Theo.
The Mysterious Girl singer also brought his 16-year-old son Junior and 14-year-old daughter Princess, from his failed marriage to 43-year-old ex-wife Katie Price, along for the fun.
And the family of six looked like they were having the time of their lives as they whizzed down the slopes of the Balkan resort of Borovets in Bulgaria while staying at the Hotel Rila which is part of Crystal Ski Holidays.
Gushing about his time on the snow mountains, Peter said: “I had no idea Bulgaria is a ski destination and it’s been wonderful.
“We were originally going to France, but entry requirements meant we couldn’t as Junior wasn’t able to get his second vaccination in time.
“We had to find an alternative and I’m so grateful we did. Bulgaria has been amazing – the people, the food, the place, and of course, the skiing. We are definitely coming back.”
The holiday was especially exciting for Peter as he was able to see his young family enjoy all the thrills of the slopes – something that is a contrast from his own family holidays growing up.
The star, who grew up in Australia, explained that his: “school holidays as children were always based on sunshine. Basically sunshine, beaches, the smell of tanning oil and ice cream. That’s how I remember our holidays”.
Peter is now singing from the mountaintops about the joys of skiing holidays.
He explains: “Go as a family; it’s such a good bonding experience because you’re doing activities together. The kids can learn on the nursery slopes, you can all learn – even the adults.
“It’s how we learned – on the green runs. It really is a special holiday. You eat together, you ski together, and you’re laughing because someone is falling but you’re all egging each other on to do better.
“Then you go off and do something like tobogganing together. There’s just so many things that you can do.”
Fans of Peter have been able to see snapshots of his holiday to the Bulgarian mountains.
Uploading a photo of himself and his family to Instagram, Peter wrote: “What an incredible week skiing with the family.
“Just to warn you I will post loads of Instagram pics in the coming days massive thank you to @crystalholidays for organising unforgettable things for us including snowmobiling and riding beautiful horses in the snow. More to come.”
