Peter Andre shares footage after house struck by lightning leaving Princess screaming

Peter Andre has shared a shocking video after his house was struck by lightning. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker posted footage following the incident and shared his relief that his daughter was "ok" after the ordeal.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, October 23, Peter shared a clip that revealed bricks and been ripped off his roof and strewn across the garden. Viewers could hear alarms ringing in the background and the sound of thunder as the 49-year-old said: "Alright the house has been struck by lightning, flipping heck. Holy heck!"

In the caption, Peter explained to his 1.8 million followers how the incident was the "loudest thing" he'd ever heard, but that it was rivalled by his 15-year-old daughter's scream. He confirmed Princess was okay following the incident but the experience, no doubt, left both of them shaken up.

Peter wrote: "Our house just got struck by lightning. The loudest thing I’ve ever heard. Alarms going off. This is mad.

"Thank god princess is ok. Although don't know what was louder, her scream or the roof."

Peter's wife Emily MacDonagh, 33, was among the first to comment on the post. She wrote: "I'm just so glad you are all ok. Typical the one week I am away this happens."

The star was then inundated with messages of support, with one social media user writing: " Gosh!! Glad to hear you’re both ok bro!!" While another added: "M ate that looks savage. Glad you are ok though." For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
