Peter Andre spoke about his 'fear' for his two eldest children as he appeared on Thursday's Good Morning Britain.
The Mysterious Girl hitmaker spoke to hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard live from his home in Surrey about his upcoming West End stint in the musical Grease.
However, Susanna was keen to steer the conversation towards his family life - in particular Peter's teenage son Junior and his budding music career.
"Your lovely kids are very prolific on TikTok let's say, and in fact, Junior has now signed his own deal hasn't he?" Susanna commented.
"Yeah, even at 15 I was taking him into the recording studio and then I said to him, when Columbia became interested in him, I said, 'you can't do anything until you're 16'. That's when my dad let me sign a contract.
"So we got it all ready and he signed his deal with Columbia Records, which is amazing. I'm in talks with them on a regular basis and he will have, probably May time his music will be out. I'm so excited for him and he's working so hard," Peter added.
Ben then asked how it felt for his son to be following in his footsteps, to which he replied: "It's a mixture of I'm proud and excited and I see how hard he works and I see how hard he works and he practices every day.
"But there's also a fear to it as well. There's this fear of you're getting thrown into this lifestyle, which I know he's part of in some way, but it's very different when you have a scheduled lifestyle.
"It's gonna be a lot of work for him and he's so excited, and yeah I'm proud but I'm also a little bit scared as I guess anyone would be.
"Hopefully he's been brought up well enough to be humble and to be respectful and to always be polite and that's the one thing I'm so strict on him about. I hope he's gonna do really well."
Peter's comments come after he recently admitted that he's still not keen on his daughter Princess using cosmetics.
Peter and his ex-wife Katie Price have been at loggerheads over Princess and her desire to wear make-up, and the singer has made a point of posting pictures of his barefaced teenage daughter on social media to highlight her natural beauty.
However, mum Katie is keen on letting Princess experiment with different looks, and said the teen “absolutely loves” wearing make-up and borrowing her clothes.
“If she wants to put make-up on then let her. She absolutely loves it,” she said last year.
But Katie admitted she knows Peter “dreads” their daughter getting dressed up, and Princess “worries” about what her dad will say.
“She has got a mum like me of course she is going to put heels on and make up on and stuff like that,” Katie said.
“Every dad out there dreads the moment their daughters get to be teenagers,” she added, noting that she keeps her make-up in Princess’s room “because she uses it anyway”.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITV Hub.
