It's that time of the year again where parents get emotional as they send their children back school after a long, chaotic break.
But Peter Andre ’s kids have been prepped to go back since they broke up for the summer, thanks to his super organised GP wife Emily.
The NHS doctor and mum-of-two has been organising her and Peter’s children’s affairs as they prepare to return to the classroom next week – as well as sorting her step-children Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, out as they start important academic years.
The couple’s blended family, including their two littlest, Theodore and Amelia, have been enjoying a summer of sun at their second home in Cyprus this month, but now Peter, 49, has told how it’s full steam ahead to get them back to school.
“The kids will be back in school next week so we’re enjoying the last days of the holidays,” he wrote in his New magazine column. “It’s been great to spend some time with them and get away to our second home in Cyprus.”
The Mysterious Girl singer told how wife Emily has been prepping for months, despite her busy job as a doctor.
He gushed: “It’s always such a busy time before the kids go back, but as Emily is Emily, she has been prepared for months!
“She’s so organised so she always takes charge of things like their uniform, clubs and stationery.”
The proud dad went on to tell how daughter Princess got her mock GCSE results last week and she was “pleased with how they went” and will now be getting ready for the real thing next year.
Peter explained how his studious daughter doesn’t need any prompting to crack on with her work.
“What I love is that I don’t have to tell her to do her homework, she seems to want to work hard and to get great results.
“I’ve said the same thing to her that I said to junior and that’s if she puts in 100% effort for her exams then I don’t mind that her grades are.”
The gushing father-of-four also told how how eldest son Junior has been busy of late as he’s passed his driving theory test and is waiting to do his practical test.
He’s also “getting ready to start promo for his second single”, the former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star revealed.
“He teased a few songs to his fans and asked them to vote on which one he should release next. He’s listened to them so watch this space.”
