Peter Andre says his children bring out the "youthfulness" in him - as he plots new music.
The Mysterious Girl singer has credited his children - Junior and Princess, who he shares with ex Katie Price, and Theodore and Amelia, who he has with wife Emily Andre - for keeping his drive to succeed strong.
Peter admits he is only just getting used to have kids in their older teens, but he is grateful for them getting older as rather than it make him feel old, it actually makes him feel younger himself.
He also confirmed he is planning to put out new music next year.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine today, he said: "It is amazing, when I think about it - you only realise when time flies when you realise the age of your kids. When Junior turned 17, I thought - I used to look at people who say I've got a 17 or 18 year old and I'm like what?
"And now it's happening to me. But the last few years, I feel the kids have brought the youthfulness out in me rather than make me feel old. It's given me more of a drive."
He also revealed he would be working on new music next year, and promised fans a brand new album in 2023 after years of waiting.
It comes after Peter admitted he doesn't want his kids to do the "crazy stuff" he did - and has banned them going on Love Island.
Speaking to The Mirror, he said: "I think with I’m A Celebrity there’s no alcohol, whereas Love Island is a show where people can lose their inhibitions on TV. It’s different when you are a dad and you see your daughter or son doing something.
"I’ve done crazy things but you don’t realise until you have children and you go, 'I don’t really want you to do the crazy stuff I did.'"
Junior recently released his debut track and it ended up top of the charts, something which Peter couldn't be prouder about.
As he celebrated his son's achievement, he said: "You have no idea how proud I am of you tonight son. Born to do it."
