Peter Andre has expressed his relief that he and his daughter Princess were safe after lightning struck his house

The Mysterious Girl singer, 49, shared a video clip on social media showing the state of his Surrey home after heavy rain battered the UK on Sunday.
Peter lives in the property with wife Emily and their children Amelia, eight, and Theo, five, plus, his children from his previous marriage to Katie Price - Junior, 17, and Princess, 15.
It’s believed that only he and Princess were in when the storm struck, however.
“Our house just got struck by lightning. The loudest thing I’ve ever heard. Alarms going off. This is mad,” the Australian singer told his 1.8m followers.
“Thank god princess is ok. Although don’t know what was louder, her scream or the roof.”
In the clip, Peter braves the torrential rain to survey the damage, which included two larges cracks in his chimney and several bricks missing from the top of the structure.
The loud sound of house alarms and car sirens can be heard in the background.
Narrating the video, he says: “All right, the house has been struck by lightning,” before he is interrupted by another flash of lightning and a loud rumbling of thunder.
“Flipping heck. Holy heck,” he responds, as he pans to the debris which is scattered around his garden.
Confirming she was away at the time, his wife Emily took to the comments section to express her relief that her loved ones were safe.
“I’m just so glad you are all ok. Typical the one week I am away this happens,” she said.
“Come to mine,” wrote television presenter Lizzie Cundy, followed by three crying face emojis, while Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas added: “Hope you’re ok brother.”
