Peter Andre has shared his relief that son Junior has passed his driving test – so he isn’t driving around on his moped anymore.
The ‘proud dad’ revealed his 17-year-old son passed his test the second time and said the first thing he did was pick sister Princess, 15, up from school.
As many new drivers do, the pair then immediately headed to McDonald’s to order their first drive-thru meal.
Dad Pete shared he and wife Emily MacDonagh had helped teach Junior to drive, but he said the family have ‘barely seen’ the teenager since he got his licence.
It seems he’s enjoying his new car too much – but Pete is just glad he’s on four wheels now instead of two.

Writing in his column for New magazine, Pete said: “I’m feeling like such a proud dad, as Junior has passed his driving test!
“The first thing he did was pick Princess up from school and then they went to McDonald’s. I felt so proud watching them drive off together. He’s a very good driver and passed second time, so I have no worries and I trust him.”
The singer added: “I feel so much better about him being in a car than on his moped. I am so relieved this stage is over. I didn’t want him not to have something he really wanted, but I worried every time he went on it!”
Earlier this year, Junior took to Instagram to share a snap of himself in front of his new car, which his dad got him for his 17th birthday.
The shiny black Audi A1 is believed to have cost £25,000 and has a personalised number plate which spells out ‘Junior’.
Captioning the post, the teenager – who didn’t have a licence at the time – wrote: “Couldn’t be more grateful right now... my dad got me the car of my dreams.”
Showing off his new wheels, dad Pete shared a video of Junior and sister Princess sat in the car.
He captioned the post: "I think he's loving his new car. Happy birthday son. Now you just have to pass your test. @officialjunior_andre @officialprincess_andre.
"Big thanks to @beany_man_ipswich_alloys for getting the wheels how he liked it in record time. I was so scared I wasn't gonna have everything ready for him. Love you son (not you Beany, I mean junior). Love you too though mate."
Overcome with emotion, he added: "My son. So proud in every way. You deserve all of it. So happy you love your present."
Junior's step mum Emily added: "Happy birthday J. So proud."
Mum Katie Price also paid a sweet tribute to her second eldest son on his 17th birthday.
The glamour model shared a video montage of her son, with his new single playing over the top.
She captioned the post: "Happy Birthday!! @officialjunior_andre. 17! I am so proud with the man you are becoming I love you so much!"
