Peter Andre found himself being flooded with comments by shocked fans as he paid a gushing tribute to his son, Junior. The singer and TV star took to Instagram where he posted a video compilation of photos of his eldest child through the years as he marked his milestone birthday.
On Tuesday (June 13), Junior, who has recently been following in his dad's musical footsteps, celebrated turning 18. Proud dad Peter, who shares Junior with his former glamour model wife Katie Price, didn't waste any time in declaring his love for his son as he penned a touching message on social media.
He wrote in the caption of his Instagram Reel, which featured images of the teen growing up: "Junior, you are everything I could ask for in a son. I love you beyond words, truly, and I am so proud of who you have become.

"Stay kind, humble, caring and focused like you are and you will go more than far. I can’t wait for the world to hear what you’ve been working on. Forever my baby boy. Happy 18th birthday [four party emojis] [five black hearts] @officialjunior_andre."
Junior was quick to respond, writing: "Love you dad," before Pete's fans and followers rushed to share their own messages to the birthday boy as well as their shock at him turning 18 already.
@danielle_mitchell88 said: "This makes me feel olllllld i remember when he was born!! Happy 18th birthday junior." @xoameliaa asked: "How is he 18?" @janet.blackburn.90 commented: "Since when did he turn 18 ! Happy birthday to your gorgeous boy (man)."

Junior is currently following in his father's footsteps by embarking on a singing career, with mum Katie recently telling OK! that her son is just like her ex-husband. "His dad is a singer so he’s [Junior] following in his footsteps. Junior is a mini-Pete, and Princess is a mini-me. But of course they have their own identities."
"He’s so different to the rest of the kids. He lives and breathes his studio," Katie continued. "He doesn’t want to do photoshoots with us any more – he wants to be known as his own person. He’s at that age where he’s too cool for school. He’s so driven. He’s so different to me. Junior has really got his head screwed on. He’s got Pete’s personality – calm and collected."
