Doting dad Peter Andre shared his delight with fans as son Junior, 17, hit Number 1One in the charts with his debut single.
The budding musician, who has followed in the footsteps of his Mysterious Girl hitmaker dad, released Slide on Friday, and shifted more singles than Harry Styles and Lady Gaga.
He shared snapshots of the iTunes chart earlier on Friday, as Junior’s track began rising up the charts.
“What a start. Wow son,” Peter wrote.
“Let’s get him to number 1! Thanks everyone that’s downloading this for him,” he later added.
Slide shot to the top of the charts within hours of being released, marking an incredible achievement by the teenage star, who has been teasing his music on TikTok for weeks.
He later celebrated his success on social media, as he shared a photo of the iTunes chart.
“Thank you to all those who have supported. You guys are mad can we get this to the top?” Junior said, as he encouraged his fanbase to get him to the top of the charts.
Katie Price also shared her excitement at Junior’s hugely successful debut single, as she said she was “so proud” of her son, and uploaded screenshots of her listening to the track.
The budding musician, who has been encouraged by dad Peter in the recording studio as he dishes out essential advice, has been giving his fans snippets of his new music on TikTok, and performed the track at a launch party.
His little sister Princess, 14, was in attendance at the bash, and Junior serenaded the audience, who sang along to the track.
“You have no idea how proud I am of you tonight son. Born to do it,” Peter, 49, wrote after the event.
Clips of Slide have gained more than six million views, and Junior released the video to accompany his debut single just hours after it was released.
“Yes son,” Peter wrote on his Instagram Stories, as he shared a link to the video.
