Peter Andre breaks silence on pregnancy rumours and says family 'have our hands full'

Peter Andre has broken his silence over rumours that his wife Emily MacDonagh is pregnant with their third child.

Writing in his weekly column in Ok! Magazine, the 49-year-old shut down gossip about whether he and his wife are planning on growing their family after one of his Instagram posts sparked debate among his followers.

He wrote: “There were rumours going around that Emily is pregnant. They seemed to have started after I posted a family picture of us with seven heart emojis.

“I think it’s safe to say that even though we have discussed this many times, we absolutely have our hands full at the moment,” he confirmed.

Peter added: “Emily isn’t pregnant but the amount of food I’ve eaten over the past month definitely makes me feel like I am!”

In his column, the Mysterious Girl singer also spoke about his recent visit to Australia alongside his elderly parents.

“I’ve spent the last two weeks in Australia with the whole family and it’s meant everything to me. We ended up jetting off on Boxing Day and at the time of writing this we are on our way back.

“Seeing my mum with all of her grandchildren around her has melted my heart. This is exactly what I dreamed of when I thought about starting 2023.

“Although her health has declined a lot, seeing her laugh so much with the kids was a definite plus.”

He added: “I was so happy to spend some time with my dad and sister Debbie, too.

“Junior and Princess have been coming over with me every year and have such a close bond with them, but this was the first time Theo and Millie have visited and they finally got to hold a koala and sit and have lunch with some kangaroos.

“I’ll be making more trips throughout the year to spend more time with my mum and dad. I can’t wait!”

Peter has also made the decision to embark on Veganuary, where people opt to eat a fully plant-based diet during the month of January.

“As well as announcing the release of mine and Ben Smith’s book #ItsFine, another great thing I’ve started this month is Veganuary.

“I’ve been open about adding plant-based foods to my weekly eating regime, and a good time to try this is during Veganuary.

“I’m not a vegan but what they call a flexitarian, which is when you increase the amount of plant-based foods in your diet,” he explained about his own food choices.

“It’s all about balance and I find that plant-based foods two or three times a week does a bit for the environment and is good for my health.

“I’ve been working with Beyond Meat on this and my mission is to carry this on throughout the year and hopefully make it a lifestyle change.

“I’d love for you to try and do the same!”
