Peter Andre has announced that he and wife Emily MacDonagh have at last settled on a name for their baby daughter just a little over a month after she was born.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 51, and his doctor other half, 34, welcomed their little girl into the world on April 2, but up until now had been at odds over what to call her.
Andre had even appealed to his followers for help in naming the tot without success after tasking MacDonagh with the deciding vote.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, he has now confirmed the newborn’s official moniker along with two new images of her.
Putting his 1.9m followers out of their misery, he revealed her name to be Arabella Rose Andréa.
“I think you’ve chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official,” he wrote in the accompanying caption.
Adding: “I LOVE it, and I love her.. and you of course,” followed by a smile.
His fans were quick to offer their seal of approval in the comments section, declaring the name “perfect”.
“What a beautiful name for a beautiful baby girl,” penned one person.
While another said they thought their choice was “classy”.
Things were looking a bit touch-and-go as in the UK it is a legal requirement that the birth of a child is registered within 42 days. After that, a reminder letter will be sent.
Failure to register your child's birth after 12 months has elapsed can result in a fine of up to £200.
Arabella is the couple’s third child together as they already share daughter Amelia, 10, and son Theo, seven. Their family also includes Andre’s two older children Junior Andre, 18, and Princess Andre, 16, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
