Peter Andre has revealed he is a "softie" when it comes to parenting his eight-year-old daughter Millie.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 49, shares his youngest two children - daughter Millie and son Theo, five - with wife Emily and is also dad to Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, whom he shares with ex Katie Price.
In his latest column, the dad-of-four opened up on his children's school reports as they approach the summer break.
Speaking in new! magazine, he said: "To be fair, all of the kids have had good reports this year. Princess had her mock GCSEs and they went well.
"I always say to the kids that I’m not a parent who says they have to get straight As, I just want them to try. If they’re lazy and they don’t put in any effort and they get a D then I’ll be disappointed, but if they get a D and they gave 100% then I’ll be proud of them."
Peter went on to admit that while his youngest daughter Millie is achieving at school, she can sometimes play up at home.
Pete explained: "Millie is also doing really well at school, although I’ll admit at home she has started trying to push the boundaries. But once we say her name in a stern tone, she listens. Also, I’m a softie."
The singer went to say the differences between himself and Emily with parenting as he said he would often let them have treats while his doctor wife is better restrained.
Meanwhile, Peter recently shared his concerns over daughter Princess "growing up too fast".
It came after the 15-year-old shared a glamorous snap of herself on Instagram following a family wedding with mum Katie.
Speaking at the Cauldwell Children's charity Butterfly Ball, he told The Sun: "It’s hard because you’re so strict as a parent, but as time goes on you start letting the reigns go a little bit.
"You don’t want to let them go too much too quick."
However, the doting dad did admit that he was becoming "less strict" as his teenage children grew older.
Last month, Peter issued a stark warning to Princess as he shared a tribute to her on her 15th birthday.
Peter posted a montage video showing a collection of photos of his daughter from over the years on his Instagram page.
He added: "You're beautiful inside and out just the way you are and never forget that." He concluded by writing: "Happy birthday and NO you can't go on Love Island. Love dad."
Later, Peter said Love Island is non-existent in his home. He explained: "I don’t even know the words Love Island. Those two words don’t go together in my house!
"Listen I can say what I want now as she’s only 15. When she gets to 18 I might not have a say."
