Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s pick for defense secretary, recently addressed Republicans on a prayer call where he emphasized that 'the battle is just beginning.' This comes as Hegseth faces scrutiny over a past sexual assault allegation, which he vehemently denies.

During the call, hosted by the Republican National Committee and co-chair Lara Trump, Hegseth urged participants to pray for President-elect Trump, incoming first lady Melania Trump, and their family. He highlighted the importance of seeking divine support during challenging times, with his wife Jennifer by his side.
