Pete's reps dismissed claims after a source told Heat : “It’s like Pete’s been brainwashed.”
The insider told the publication that the comic started out being independent in the relationship while he introduced his new beau to his world and family, but “that has really changed, with Kim well and truly running his life”.
“She’s persuaded him to uproot his life in New York to move closer to her place in Calabasas, California, and even suggested that he quit his job on SNL. Everyone knows Kim is one for the savviest characters in the entertainment world, and Pete should seriously consider her suggestions."
Pete confirmed that he is quitting "Saturday Night Live" after eight seasons on Monday.
Pete is currently is involved in a number of projects, including a biopic about Joey Ramones and a romantic comedy which also stars SNL co-star Colin Jost.
Pete last featured on SNL in February.
Most of his other commitments have involved being on Kim’s arm, where the pair have been snapped cosying up at red-carpet events like the Met Gala, White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and the premiere of Kim’s new Hulu show The Kardashians of late.
Kim confirmed their relationship in March in a post on Instagram, shortly after she was declared legally single after filing for divorce from rapper Kanye West.
