We learned a lot about the Seahawks in yesterday’s win over the Cardinals. For one thing, they have a dominant defensive unit for the first time in almost a decade. While things aren’t going great on the other side of the ball, one group you can’t blame is the wide receivers.
With DK Metcalf sitting out due to injury for the first time in his career, Seattle needed other receivers to step up. Rookies Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Jake Bobo answered the call and then some. Together, they combined for eight catches, 124 yards and two touchdowns. Here’s Pete Carroll gushing over his rookies after the game.
