The Seattle Seahawks beat the New York Jets 23-6 to keep their playoff hopes alive, but it came at a cost.

After the game, head coach Pete Carroll gave an injury update for Brooks. Carroll admitted he didn’t know the extent of the injury, or the specifics, but mentioned he was undergoing imaging during the press conference.
Brooks wasn’t the only injury of note, as Tyler Lockett also missed time.
“Tyler got banged up on his right lower leg, it just bothered him,” Carroll elaborated. “He tried to get warm, he tried to get loose, and stay in, and got back on the field. At the very end, we held him out.”
As far as Week 18 goes, Carroll says we’ll “have to wait and see” when it comes to Lockett’s availability. Fortunately, Lockett made it through the game with no issue to his surgically repaired hand.
The other injury of note was guard Phil Haynes, who suffered a sprained ankle.
