Protestors from animal welfare charity PETA have invaded the catwalk during London Fashion Week.
Two women and one man took to the stage during the H&M show on Thursday evening, wielding the same sign which read: “H&M: Wool is bloody cruel. Drop it!”.
The audience members jumped onto the catwalk in stages, with the first within the first couple of minutes of the start of the show.
One of the protestors even managed to get backstage, walking out with the models.
Each protestor was able to walk the full length of the runway before security intervened, following them along the stage, with each protester leaving without any physical struggle.
The audience at Kensington Olympia appeared shocked at the protests, with audible sighs and gasps when the third protestor took to the stage.
The protestors caused a hubbub in the crowd, with the actual collection completely overshadowed by the spectacle.
It comes just days after a fashion CEO has apologized after restraining two protesters at a New York Fashion Week show.
Steven Kolb, CEO and President of the Council of Fashion Designers, grabbed a protester at the COS fashion show on Sunday.
Footage showed Kolb gripping one PETA protester by his face, covering his mouth as he shouted a slogan, and also dragging a female protester to the ground and placing a leg over her body.
