A Perth hotel will swap ballroom dancing for body slams next weekend when a family-friendly wrestling super show returns to town.
Megaslam Wrestling arrives to showcase its best brawlers at the Fair City’s Station Hotel on Saturday, September 10 as part of its nationwide 2022 Live Tour.
Established in 2009, Megaslam Wrestling is one of Europe’s most prolific wrestling promoters, presenting in excess of 300 live events per year around the UK and the Isle of Man.
An array of talented performers who have appeared in venues nationwide are coming to The Station Hotel for the two-hour family entertainment spectacle.
Promoters say the 2022 Live Tour is the “biggest and best to date” and Perth families can expect to see a plethora of highly entertaining matches including a Megaslam Championship defence by the 6’5 champion Massimo, a Heavyweight Challenge, Tag Team Thriller and a surprise main event to be announced on the evening.
“We are all extremely excited to be heading back to Perth,” said promoters.
“Scotland has been a firm favourite for a number of years, and we are delighted to be bringing the shown back to The Station Hotel ballroom as part of our 2022 Live Tour, which has been selling out across England, Isle of Man and Ireland already this year.
“The show appeals to all the family, whether you are a wrestling fan or just looking for an evening out like no other with the family, we guarantee that you will want to come back.”
Two teams will battle it out during the evening with fans being urged to cheer on their favourites.
“For Team Megaslam we have the Megaslam Champion, Massimo - a muscle-bound giant of the ring, the ultimate underdog, Derek, Dundee’s Hugo Harris and more,” they added.
“Opposing them will be Team Nasty members Colt Miles, Irish Star Alexander Dean, Nottingham’s Ricky Regan and more.
“There’s all this and so much more - it’s a true experience for the whole family and two hours of ‘full on’ family fun.”
After the show fans will be invited to stay behind and meet their favourite stars.
