A new DLC trailer for Persona 3 Reload's Episode of Aigis just dropped and introduced players to Aigis' sister, Metis.
The game's DLC is the third part of its Expansion Pass collection of downloadable content and will become available starting on Sept. 10, 2024.
It features content that was originally released in Persona 3 FES as a post-game epilogue where players were able to control Aigis.
Persona 3 Reload Episode of Aigis
The first release of the Expansion Pass was the "Persona 5 Royal EX BGM Set" and the "Persona 4 Golden EX BGM Set." These include additional tracks from the two respective games that players can enjoy while in dungeons.
On the other hand, the "Velvet Costume & BGM Set" was the second release for the game's Expansion Pass which was released on May 31, 2024. Persona 3 Reload was released
on Feb. 2, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, according to AnimeNewsNetwork.
The latest release features a revamped battle system that was upgraded from the original Persona 3 game. On top of this, it also features "cutting-edge graphics and gameplay," a remastered soundtrack, and enhanced audio that features an all-new English voice-over.
The original game was released for the PlayStation 2 back in 2006 and Persona 3 FES, which was an add-on disc, was released the year after. Next was Persona 3 Portable which was released for the PlayStation Portable in 2009.
Players who want to get a chance to play the latest Episode of Aigis release need to either have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or purchase it separately for $34.99.
Developer Atlus described the new DLC as having the S.E.E.S. members finding themselves trapped in a never-ending March 31st, said Crunchyroll.
Uncover the Truth of the Mystery
It will require players to journey through the Abyss of Time while controlling Aigis in order to overcome new challenges and uncover the cause of the strange fate as well as the truth of what exactly happened on that day.
The latest trailer that introduced Metis showcased some of what players can expect to see when they interact with the new character. The new expansion also gives you 30 new hours of gameplay to immerse yourself in.
Metis herself claims to be Aigis' sister and she appears before the S.E.E.S. members as they are trapped in the never-ending loop. After they meet, the android companion leads the group to the Abyss of Time in the dormitory's basement, according to WCCFTech.
