A person has sadly been struck by a train near Glasgow Queen Street Station this afternoon.
Emergency crews are currently at the scene following the incident between Queen Street and Croy with services via the upper level cancelled.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm with line closures expected to last until around 5pm tonight.

ScotRail said: "Unfortunately we have received reports of a person being struck by a train between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy. We are working closely with emergency services during this time and will keep you updated. All services via the upper level of Queen Street are subject to delay."
They later updated passengers to confirm tickets are being accepted on Citylink buses, adding: "CityLink have advised that services have limited availability between Glasgow and Stirling therefore customer might not be able to board the first available coach."
