Police were called to the scene of a crash after items fell from a lorry.
Merseyside Police were called to Tower Road in Birkenhead, Wirral, at around 4.50pm on Thursday, December 8, following reports of a crash involving a white Ford Ranger Wildtrack and a lorry. Once at the scene, police said officers found a number of pallets had fallen from the back of the lorry.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene and taken to hospital for a further assessment, police said.

Quarry Roundabout, Canning Street and Tower Road were all closed while emergency services remained in the area and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "At around 4.50pm this evening (Thursday 8 December) officers were called to report of a collision on Tower Road in Birkenhead involving a white Ford Ranger Wildtrack and a lorry.
"Further reports established that pallets had come off a lorry that was being driven on the road. The driver of the car was treated at the scene and has been taken to hospital for a further assessment."
