A person was pulled from a burning bungalow by firefighters and rushed to hospital.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) received a 999 call at around 6.12pm on Friday, July 15, following reports of a fire at a bungalow in Moreton, Wirral. Four fire engines arrived at the scene six minutes later and found the property on Berrylands Close well alight.
The exact location of the fire was not confirmed by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus ran into the building and rescued a person from the bungalow as firefighting with a hose reel jet and main branch hose continued. The casualty was given oxygen by crews before being treated by paramedics.
Six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus continued to fight the fire with two main branch hoses and a hose reel jet. Five adjoining properties were also evacuated or confirmed empty.
Crews then began now damping down and checking for hot spots or fire spread. The casualty was rushed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.
