A person has died after being hit by a train in East Lothian.
The service had been travelling between Edinburgh and Berwick-upon-Tweed at around noon on Monday, February 28.
Network Rail tweeted at 12.26pm: "We're responding to a report of a person being struck by a train between Dunbar and the border.
"The emergency services are already on site."
Trains may be diverted or cancelled until around 3pm.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the line in Eyemouth at 11.53am on 28 February following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Procurator Fiscal."
The ScotRail train between Edinburgh and Dunbar and TransPennine Express between Edinburgh and Newcastle have been affected.
Similarly, the CrossCountry between Edinburgh and Plymouth and/or Bristol Temple Meads has also been impacted by the incident.
The LNER service between Edinburgh and London Kings Cross and ScotRail between Edinburgh and Dunbar has been affected too.
Rail replacement is currently being sourced for Edinburgh and Newcastle with coaches scheduled to arrive at stations from 1pm.
