A person has died after being rescued from the water at Keynsham Memorial Park in Bristol. Emergency services were called to the park on Tuesday, January 3 to rescue the person from the water.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to reports that a member of the public had seen a person in the water at the park. Avon Fire and Rescue service also attended the incident to bring the person to shore.
The ambulance service sadly pronounced them dead at the scene. A spokesperson for the police force said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
