A person has died at a Liverpool train station.
Emergency services were called to Wavertree Technology Park station at 1.33pm today (March 8) due to reports of a casualty on the tracks. However, a person had died at the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Wavertree Technology Park station at 1.33pm on 8 March to reports of a casualty on the tracks.

"Paramedics also attended, and sadly a person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
"This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Liverpool Lime Street tweeted: "Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident at Wavertree Technology Park, train services are unable to operate in either direction between Liverpool Lime Street, Wigan North Western and Manchester stations via Huyton".
