Permanent Gypsy/Traveller site near Perth to undergo £6.5 million transformation

Around £6.5 million will be spent on transforming a permanent Gypsy/Traveller site near Perth.

All 20 chalets at Double Dykes, Ruthvenfield, will be replaced with brand new energy-efficient accommodation for residents, all of which are council tenants.

Major works - including new renewable technology, roadway improvements and a new play park - will be also carried out across the site.
