A number of Manchester United supporters believe the club should try and sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix ahead of the summer transfer window closing in just under two months' time.
United have made it one of their primary missions to strengthen their attacking options with the addition of a world-class striker this summer and have now identified Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund as their top target. United are in discussions with the Italian outfit and are keen to get a deal over the line.
However, the Manchester Evening News understands that manager Erik ten Hag, in addition to a new No.9, would still like to recruit another forward. It is understood that the Dutchman wants to bring someone in who is capable of operating anywhere across the forward line.
It is currently unclear how United's pool of attacking options will look come the end of the summer amid doubts over several individuals' futures. The likes of Jadon Sancho, Anthony Elanga, Facundo Pellistri, Anthony Martial and Amad could all depart this summer, either on loan or on a permanent basis.
