The parents of a baby boy given a 1% chance of survival said he is still fighting on.
Baby Finley James Fletcher was born on Thursday, January 5 to proud parents Kane Fletcher, 30, and his partner Sophie Davis, 29. The family were overjoyed to hear the cries of their baby after previously being given the heartbreaking prognosis.
During Sophie's pregnancy, the couple were told their son had a heart condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome when Sophie was at 20 weeks. Specialists at Liverpool Women's Hospital also confirmed the diagnosis.
