Pep Guardiola took a dim view on being asked about FSG's willingness to sell Liverpool at his latest Man City pre-match press conference ahead of their League Cup clash with Chelsea.
The Reds owners confirmed on Monday that are searching for new investors, while they are also open to a full takeover at Anfield having struggled to compete financially with Man City's Abu Dhabi billions despite Jurgen Klopp 's side winning every major trophy going since the German took over as manager in 2015.
Guardiola was asked about the latest goings-on at Anfield, with Liverpool establishing themselves as City's main title-rivals in recent years. But he was dismissive of such questioning as he refused to talk about FSG and rival clubs in general.

"I'm not the right person to ask this question," he told reporters. "I am not the right one to answer you. Don't ask me these kind of questions.
"I cannot answer you, I am not involved in that. I am not the CEO. I try to be as good as a manager as possible, that's all. And of course I'm not going to talk about the other clubs."
