Pep Guardiola will not be resting any Manchester City players against Brentford to save them for the World Cup.
City have one more Premier League game before the majority of their players depart for Qatar for the World Cup, and there have been reports that some national associations have asked clubs not to play selected players this weekend so they are better prepared for the tournament.
However, Guardiola was clear when he said there would be no consideration of the World Cup when selecting his side to face Brentford, telling anyone thinking of asking him to rest players to not call him.
