Pep Guardiola says the whole country wants Liverpool to win the Premier League ahead of Manchester City as he vowed to continue disrupting the status quo in English football.
Guardiola led City to a 5-0 win over Newcastle that sent his side three points clear in the table with three games left. The big win also took City's goal difference ahead of Liverpool's as well as giving them an advantage in the 'goals scored' column should the title come down to those metrics.
But it was a comment about the widespread support for Liverpool that is bound to dominate post-match as Guardiola doubled down on a claim that nobody wants City to win the title.
