Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has suggested that clubs could need as many as 96 points to claim the Premier League title this season.
The reigning champions currently sit top of the table at the current time and look to be favourites to claim the crown once more with a haul of 60 points after 24 matches.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool sit nine points behind following their mid-week victory against Leicester City - albeit with a game in-hand - whilst Chelsea are a further four points respectively behind the Reds and will not be able to cut the gap this weekend due to their FIFA Club World Cup commitments.
