Guardiola tells City he wants to stay ‘forever’
There’s always plenty of speculation about what Pep Guardiola has planned for life after City. The Catalan is under contract at the Etihad until the end of next season, when many have predicted he could bid farewell to the club.
Guardiola’s future has been brought into the spotlight this week amid rumours he’s being lined up to become Brazil’s new manager. Reports in Spain claim the 51-year-old is being lined up to coach the five-time world champions when his contract expires next year.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s huge game against Liverpool though, the City boss brushed off the speculation, and even suggested he would be willing to stay at the Etihad forever. “I'd extend the contract 10 years but now is not the moment,” Guardiola said.
Klopp shares injury update ahead of title showdown
All eyes will be on the Etihad on Sunday for what could be this season’s title decider. Liverpool are of course the visitors for what is set to be a titanic clash between arguably Europe’s two best sides.
City’s lead over the Reds has of course been whittled down to just one point, adding plenty of spice to the encounter. And plenty of the Blues’ supporters will have been waiting with interest as Jurgen Klopp delivered his side’s latest injury news ahead of the game.
Liverpool had a fully-fit squad for their midweek trip to Benfica, where they placed one foot in the Champions League semi-finals with a 3-1 win. They left with a big concern though, with Fabinho suffering a nasty clash of heads late on, with Klopp delivering an update on his midfielder’s condition on Friday.
