A video of a furious Pep Guardiola being held back by his friends after being goaded by a fan on the street has surfaced on social media.
Football Fan Publicly Mocks Pep Guardiola
In the clip doing the rounds on social media, the Manchester City boss is said to be reportedly walking outside his apartment building in Manchester before being confronted by a Scouse man.
As Guardiola walks by with his family and friends at night, the fan seems to touch a nerve, saying: “Ah mate, just because you lost.”

A livid Guardiola turns around to confront the fan immediately, saying: “You know what is lost?”
The Spaniard is then held back by close friends, making him more incensed. Guardiola continues to ask “you what is lost?” before being escorted away.
It has been suggested on social media that the clip came after City’s 2-0 defeat by Liverpool last week.
However, reports have claimed that the clip was filmed back in May, hours after Man City’s FA Cup final defeat by rivals Man United.
Guardiola Trades Barbs With Liverpool Fans
While the footage is said to have been taken months ago, it’s not the only time Guardiola has responded to Scouse jibes as of late.
The City boss has found himself under increasing pressure following a disastrous run of form.
While his City side were able to end the seven-game winless runs – with six of those defeats – in their 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, the 2-0 defeat by title rivals Liverpool appears to have struck a nerve.
It saw Liverpool extend the gap to City to 11 points at the time and saw Guardiola told he was ‘getting sacked in the morning’ by tongue-in-cheek Reds fans.
Guardiola cheekily responded to the chants by holding up six fingers – relating to his six Premier League titles.

Speaking after the football game, Pep told Sky Sports: “I didn’t expect that at Anfield.
“I didn’t expect it from the people from Liverpool but it’s fine, it’s part of the game, and I understand completely.
“We’ve had incredible battles together. I have a respect for them.”
