Arsenal and Manchester City are currently locked in a tense battle to win this season's Premier League title.
It is Mikel Arteta's side that currently have the edge, sitting eight points clear of City in second, although the latter do have a game in hand on their title rivals. Next up for the Citizens is a home clash against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, although the reigning champions could be without star striker Erling Haaland for the must-win match at the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland has netted a whopping 42 goals across all competitions this season but he was forced to withdraw from Norway's squad during the international break due to a groin injury. Now, City boss Pep Guardiola has delivered an update on the 22-year-old's current fitness levels, revealing that he will know more by this evening.

“Erling is recovering", Guardiola said in his pre-match press conference. "We have the last training session and we will see how we feels.
"We will see this afternoon. The last training at 4 o’clock, we will see how he feels. The former Bayern Munich head coach added: "We will see today and the doctors and players will decide.
"I spoke with him yesterday and he feels good." One player that City will definitely be without for the game against Jurgen Klopp's men is England international Phil Foden after the talented playmaker underwent surgery to remove his appendix during the international break.
“The doctors tell me two or three weeks - I think so - and we will see his development from appendicitis surgery,” Guardiola said when discussing when Foden would return to action.
