Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted he loves fighting for the Premier League title amid his side's ongoing battle with league leaders Arsenal.
City defeated the north Londoners 3-1 back in February to go top of the table but the Gunners then won seven league matches on the bounce before seeing that run come to an end on Sunday as they drew 2-2 away to Liverpool. Still, Mikel Arteta and co are six points clear of the Citizens, albeit having played an extra match in the league this term.
Now, Guardiola has expressed his love for the final part of the season, claiming that he is the happiest man in the world when his team are fighting to win the title. "Being again in the quarter-finals in Europe is a moment to enjoy,” the former Barcelona head coach said on Monday.
