Pep Guardiola was left furious after Manchester City's disallowed goal against Liverpool - and pointed to what referee Anthony Taylor said to both Jurgen Klopp and his own coaches during the game.
City believed they had taken the lead via Phil Foden only for the goal to be pulled back due to a foul from Erling Haaland on Fabinho earlier in the move. Guardiola vented his outrage on the touchline and has alleged coins were thrown at him by Liverpool fans.
He appeared to suggest bias towards Liverpool at Anfield as he repeated "this is Anfield" in numerous interviews after the game. And he also revealed that he was enraged by the fact Taylor told Klopp and other coaches that the challenge "happens all the time" as he explained why he had not originally given a foul.

In his interview with Sky Sports, Guardiola said: "The referee came to the coaches and said play on, play on. There were a million fouls. But after we scored a goal, he decided it is not play on. This is Anfield."
Elaborating on what was said to both benches, he told BBC Match of the Day: "The referee says play on, play on, play on, how many thousand million fouls he has almost given? But the goal was not given.
"That is the question, so when the referee decides to speak to the mangers, to Jurgen Klopp, to my assistant coach and say 'I am going to be clear, it happens all the time in that way,' then you cannot disallow the goal. But if you decide in the first minute fault, fault, fault... But you know, this is Anfield."
Manchester City midfield Bernardo Silva told Sky Sports: "What we expect from the referees is consistency in the decisions. When you go through a path of not whistling little contacts, you need to keep going that way."
Despite City's outrage, ex-Manchester United defender Gary Neville felt the decision was correct as he watched replays on co-commentary.
Neville said on Sky Sports: " Pep’s going mad, whatever happens coming out of this, I imagine it’s going to be cancelled will mean this atmosphere will be electric and turned up.
" There’s that tug on the shirt from Haaland on Fabinho there, that’s why the goals going to be disallowed. He’s been here before, it’s just the tug of the shirt his right hand. I have to say he holds on for too long to pull Fabinho down. I think it’s the right decision. "
