Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City will be giving no thought to Tuesday's trip to Real Madrid when they prepare their team to face struggling Leeds in the Premier League on Saturday.
City take on Leeds knowing victory will send them four points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League, before the Gunners play at Newcastle on Sunday. City then take on Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesday, but Guardiola insists there is no consideration to the trip to Spain before Sam Allardyce's Leeds have been beaten.
With plenty of points still to be won in the Premier League - and Arsenal still fighting to stay within touching distance if City slip up - Guardiola says that there is simply no time to think about resting players for the trip to Spain, even if he's hinted at tiredness within the squad in the last few games.

Asked if there was any chance of his City selection vs Leeds being made with the trip to Madrid in mind, Guardiola shook his head, saying: "No. I'm thinking now, a lot of games and tension. I see the team really tired after the demand from West Ham and Fulham.
"I have to see how the players recover for this, three days from the previous game. I will be focussed on their physical and mental for this game. After [I think] Madrid.
"The Premier League is so nice, important to go four points in front of Arsenal. Really important, all focus on the game tomorrow."
However, Guardiola admitted that his preparations will be hampered by Sam Allardyce's appointment at Leeds and the fact that City have no idea how the opposition will play on Saturday.
"When you don't have information on the opponent, don't focus much on them," he said. "Focus more on you. You have to think about your team, analyse the West Ham game to help us with the next game.
"Always the impact a new manager on the players, the first one or two games. Every team is playing for important things. Of course Leeds the impact is always huge. I don't know how they play, we have to adapt quick. We can imagine what he tries to do. It's a massive important game for us."
