Pep Guardiola breaks silence on rumours surrounding Manchester City ‘exit’

  • Pep Guardiola has insisted that speculation over his Manchester City future had “zero” impact on his side’s preparation for their clash against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening.
  • News broke on Monday evening that the Spaniard would be ‘leaving’ Manchester City , although this is yet to be confirmed by the club or Guardiola.
  • In his pre-match interview on Sky Sports ahead of the Bournemouth game, Guardiola was not asked to comment on whether he would be leaving.
  • Guardiola instead reflected on what would be a “tough” game against the south coach club, who are unbeaten in 16.
  • Manchester City must win to take the title race to the final day. Anything less and Arsenal will be confirmed as Premier League champions.
