Arsenal have had the perfect start to the season as Mikel Arteta’s side have won their opening three Premier League games. The magnificent start sees the north London currently sit at the top of the table.
The Gunners' start to the campaign is the complete opposite to how the previous season began as Arteta’s men lost all three matches without scoring a goal. This led to Arsenal sitting at the bottom of the table going into the first international break of 2021/22 season.
A major reason for the complete turnaround in fortunes for the Gunners is due to the transfer recruitment of Edu in the summer market. Oleksandr Zinchenko in particular has been magnificent since his move, and his impressive win record highlights why he is such a quality acquisition for the Gunners.

Since making his Manchester City debut in 2017, Zinchenko has the highest win percentage compared to any other player in Premier League history who has played over 50 matches.
The Ukrainian international has won 82.3% of his matches which puts him first in the Premier League. Arjen Robben sits at second with 82.1% and Aymeric Laporte at 81.5%.
Zinchenko completed a £30 million transfer from reigning Premier League champions Manchester City last month, reuniting with former teammate Gabriel Jesus. The Ukrainian international started the north Londoners' opening three league fixtures, performing well in a 2-0 win away to Crystal Palace last weekend before enjoying an excellent display during Saturday's 4-2 victory over Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium, which was followed up by a comfortable 3-0 win away to Bournemouth.
Kieran Tierney had been the Gunners' first choice left-back, but Zinchenko’s excellent performances has kept the Scotsman out of the team. His ability to drift into midfield and add an extra avenue to attack is another reason why Arteta has persisted with starting his new acquisition.
Zinchenko is fast becoming a fan favourite. He has already earned himself a chant from the Gunners faithful to the tune of Spandau Ballet’s iconic song Gold. The lyrics are: " Zinchenko, always believe in your soul, you’ve got the power to know, you’re indestructible, always believe in Zinchenko."
The Ukrainian’s impressive win record is a testament to the impact he has on teams down the left-hand side. Arsenal will be hoping that Zinchenko maintains his position in having the highest win percentage in the Premier League as Arteta’s side strive for Champions League football.
