A large search is underway for a puppy believed to be on train tracks.
Kerry Harding bought her Cockapoo, Heidi, as a therapy dog to help her son Dylan, 18, who has cancer. Today while being looked after by a family friend Heidi, now 10 months old, became "spooked" at Eccleston Park golf park.
Heidi has been spotted along the railway tracks between Huyton, Rainhill, and Whiston. The trains were slowed down for an hour in an effort to locate Heidi but she has not been seen in the last two hours.

Speaking to the ECHO Kerry said: " She was sighted by the drivers of the train and the passengers and just got spooked by a child's motorised car.
"She is the baby of the household and is not just a dog at all. Heidi was bought for my son who had surgery seven days ago and he is a bit frantic as he can't do much to help."
As Heidi has not been spotted in the last two hours trains have resumed normal service.
Kerry, 38, said: "We have had Network Rail, British Transport Police, and Mersyside Police up and down the tracks all day. We have got everyone we know out looking for her but nobody has seen her.
"We just want her to come home and she will be so scared right now. The trains are back up to full speed so we are really worried about her."
Pictures of Heidi have been posted all over social media in an effort to locate her. Comments have flooded in with messages of support for Kerry and her family.
One person said: "I’m praying she’s found soon. I’m currently out of the area -back in Huyton tomorrow and will look everywhere as much as I can if she’s still not found by tomorrow." Another said: "My heart is in my mouth for its poor owner."
