People in stiches over woman's 30th wedding anniversary cake that goes horribly wrong

In a bid to celebrate special occasions, such as milestone birthdays or impressive anniversaries, several budding celebrators may choose to purchase cakes to mark the event. However, a woman who had ordered a 30th wedding anniversary cake for her parents was in utter disbelief over the item she received, which was unlike the request that she originally placed.

Megan Turned originally placed an order for two sponges, which were shaped into the number 30, to celebrate her parent's pearl anniversary. Despite receiving a version of a 30 cake, it was far from the original she requested, leaving people "crying" over the ordeal.

The TikToker placed an order for a cake, which was accessorised with beautiful piping and tasteful '30 years' decorations along the top.

However, she was gobsmacked when she came across the finished product, which was far from what she requested.

The cake that Megan received was evidently dissimilar with notable different aspects, including piping colour, the shape of the numbers, and the floral-shaped icing on top.

Alongside the bottom of the cake, it included additional piping alongside "happy 30th wedding anniversary mum and dad".

Megan wrote on the video : "What I asked for vs what I got."

Taking to popular video-streaming service TikTok, she shared the cake fail, which has now surpassed a whopping 945,000 views to date.

Alongside the images, she added a popular TikTok audio which people use to joke about their 'expectation vs reality' scenarios, which says: "I'm literally crying over my nails right now cause they're so ugly.

"Oh my God, ok, this is what I wanted, ok? And this is what I got!"

Taking a new spin on the popular trend, TikToker rushed to the comment to discuss the ordeal, which left some users in tears.

"You won the trend," one person stated.

Another added: "You won best memorable cake for a lifetime."

A different user wrote: "No I'm crying - Helen and Eugene's wedding anniversary ruined!!"

A fourth said: "Aww no way - I'd be asking for my money back."

"Omg seriously?? I definitely wouldn’t pay for it!" A fifth agreed.
