It's not unusual for people to make their own homemade mashed potatoes all slightly different. While some prefer to use milk, cream or another ingredient to perfect the dish, most can agree there are certain forbidden flavour combinations.
However, one man caused a stir online after revealing the bizarre substitute in his dinner after discovering he had used up all of his milk. Still keen to enjoy his dinner, the chef came up with an idea which has left many people feeling unsettled as they argue he should have gone without, the Mirror reports.
With no spare milk, the creative foodie opted for chocolate milk instead and even showed off the results of his attempt online. Taking to Reddit, the man said: "I was out of milk for my mashed potatoes so I used chocolate milk."
