Eggs are a delicious and versatile snack or meal ingredient, and many of us use them almost daily in recipes, sandwiches and breakfasts.
Cutting boiled eggs can be tricky, but one woman has gone viral on TikTok after sharing her easy way to perform the task. She said she's "figured it out " after almost 30 years on Earth.
TikToker Andrea Van Derwerker, who posts under the username @andrealanev captioned her revolutionary video: "I'm just now figuring this out after almost 30 years on this spinning rock?"

In the video, multiple halved eggs can be seen on the surface, and they look perfectly cut, reports the Mirror. Andrea then said: "Hey, erm, if you guys all knew about cutting hard-boiled eggs like this and you didn't tell me... we're going to have some serious beef, okay?"
In the video, she can be seen slicing the egg lightly, and then rolling it towards her so the yolk pops out in a perfect ball, and the whites of the egg are cut into perfect halves. She then proceeded to pick the ball of yolk up and said: "Look at that, no yolk all over the knife, it's so clean... are you kidding me!?"
In the comments, people said they were shocked and impressed with the method, saying they were going to make devilled eggs with the hack. One TikTok user wrote: "My jaw dropped."
A second said: "So we are cutting eggs avocado style?! I never knew that was possible lol." A third said: "Been doing this forever, this is the proper way to cut eggs y'all".
A fourth joked: "That's eggcellent". [sic]
