Pensioner with dementia in debt 'mess' convicted over unpaid TV Licence bill in fast-track prosecution

A pensioner with dementia has been convicted of not keeping up with TV Licence payments, in the latest case of harsh justice from the Single Justice Procedure.

The 69-year-old was prosecuted by TV Licensing earlier this month over the unpaid household bill, and now has a conviction to his name.
